Parish Highlights 
The visit of our Holy Father was a remarkable time for all of us. It was clear that Benedict XVI came to affirm us in our faith and to call us consistently to be people of hope. Even his words to the United Nations were placed within the context of hope for our world. Please pray for him as he continues his pastoral ministry. So many people have said about the visit that "he made us proud to be Catholic." Personally, I know that it will be impossible for me to ever pray for Benedict at Mass without thinking of this past week and the extraordinary impact of his visit. One of my constant impressions was simply that his visit was not about him, it was about Christ.
